Can
invitations be purchased without printing?
Yes they can. You can order the outer invitations with the cardstock and the printing price will be deducted when the remaining portion of the order is charged and your order is ready to ship.
What
is your turnaround time?
Generally, our turnaround time is 8-10 weeks but it can vary more or less based on pending orders and other issues such as the type of printing that the customer has selected with the order. Genuine engraving can possibly take as long as 3 1/2 months to complete and colored inks can add an extra 2 weeks of production time to any type of printing. Thermography and letterpress printing can take considerably less time to produce.
What does
preordering entail and what should I expect during this stage?
Preordering entails completion of a questionnaire to determine whether we can fulfill your order in the time that you specify.
Credit card information is not needed at this
stage. You will be asked several questions regarding your event such as the
date, design choices, etc. If we are
able to accommodate your request in the time that you specified, you will be notified by email and issued a
customer number. You will then be asked to return to the site within a
specified period of time to place your final order using the customer number that you
were issued. At the final order stage you will need to provide credit card information
and place your order using the customer number that you were given. After we receive your order with all the required information, we will begin production.
Can
you process large quantities?
Yes, we can process large quantities, but our ability to process them will depend on the amount of time we have before your event. Whatever the size of your order, please make sure that you add to the production time additional time for mailing and receiving your responses. Please place your orders well in advance to insure timely delivery.
Do you
accept rush orders?
Our ability to
handle rush orders will depend on the current number of orders
pending at the time you contact
us as well as other factors. Please email us with the style, color, quantity and date
of your event. Additional prices will apply for all ruch orders.
Do
you require a deposit before starting production?
Yes we require
a 50% deposit before we begin production of an order. This is payable by Visa,
Mastercard or Amex. The second half of the order will be charged when the order is completed.
Is there a charge
to order samples?
Yes, prices can be found by clicking on the pricing links. The sample package includes the outer invitation, card stock for the printed invitation and paper swatches for envelopes.
Why does it take
so long to complete an order?
Our designs are handcrafted and custom made according to the styles and colors that the customer selects. We do not use mechanical means to produce our designs. This is what makes our designs special and why our designs resemble old word antiquities. Therefore we put a great deal of time and effort in producing a product of superior quality. In addition, printing, design choices and pending orders also play a significant role in the time it takes to process orders.
Is it possible to
order a color for an outer invitation that is not listed on the pricing page?
As long as the color that
you select is from another gallery in our collection, it's possible, but there
may be a difference in price.
